Club News

We now have a forum that is open to club members and non-members alike.

UPDATE - You can now register on the website automatically - just use the "Create an Account" link on the login box.  You will then be able to post to our forum.

If you have problems registering contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll set you up manually.

Well, here we are with our new 21st century website.  Our old site has served us well, but it was difficult to keep people up to date with what was going on in the club, plus there was no easy way for people to interact with it.

We can now keep you up to date with regular news, plus you can comment on any of the articles on the site via the Disqus feature.  This is open to anyone, members and non-members, so it would be great to hear your views on the X1/9 scene.

The results of the Chairman vote are now in. The voting was Chris Robinson: 38 votes, Les Mott: 36 votes. Chris Robinson therefore wins the vote and continues in his role of Chairman until the 2012 AGM. Congratulations to Chris and thanks to all of you who voted.

We had a great response to our stand at the NEC last weekend, with loads of interest around the four cars we had on display.  For those of you who were able to make it and say hello, it was great to meet you.

Thanks to Rob, Nick, Phil and xxx for providing the fine cars for display and thanks to the volunteers who gave up their time to man the stand - hope you've all recovered from the hours of standing!
