After a disappointing summer of cancelled events, there is some good news for classic car lovers.  The organiser's of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Car Show at the NEC in November have advised us that they are planning for it to go ahead.  Some things will be a little different from usual in order to keep people safe, but there will be the usual array of great cars to look at.

We'll keep you updated as we know more, but click here to go to the event website for more details of the event and how to book tickets.

While life is slowly getting back to something like normal, we can't foresee how quickly Covid-19 restrictions will finally be lifted.
Therefore the Committee has taken the decision to postpone this year's National until 2021.
The fun filled action packed National to the Brecon Beacons will now take place from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September 2021 so save the date!!
This gives us even more time to plan a stupendous weekend so look out for details in next year's magazines.
In the meantime stay safe.

Our plan is still to stay at the Lakeside Caravan Park on  Llangorse Lake so you may wish to amend any existing bookings until next year.

Hopefully we've seen the last of the snow now and we can start dusting down our cars for the summer ahead.  There's loads of events to look forward to in the coming year so keep checking out our events page for more details.  In particular, this coming weekend the Club will be present at the NEC for the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration show.  Andy has been busy pulling together a collection of fantastic X1/9s to display. Don't forget, Club members benefit from a discounted entry fee.  In addition, Martin has been planning this year's Club National Event.  More details will be released over time, but be sure to pencil in 7th-9th September.

Now that the weather is dark, wet and cold and our cars are tucked up for the winter, we need something to look forward to in 2017.  We might have just the tonic for you - Sharon and Ray have been busy planning next year's National Event in Bridlington, East Yorkshire on the 8th to 10th September. We're holding it in conjunction with the Bridlington Weekend of Motoring, so there's sure to be loads going on.
