Club National Event

The Club's National Event is entitled "London at Dawn" and will take place on the 7th to 9th September 2018.

The event will be based from East Thurrock and the high level itinerary is as follows:

Friday evening - gather at the hotel and the pub next door

Saturday morning - Drive to Greenwich Park via the Queen Elizabeth Bridge ; experience the Royal Observatory, Greenwich Village, Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum, Royal Naval College. 

Saturday afternoon/evening - Drive via Canary Wharf to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.  Walk across Tower Bridge and along the South Bank of the Thames to Westminster, stopping off for lunch.

Early Sunday morning - gather at the hotel to leave at 6am to drive around the sights of London before the traffic builds up.  Tower Bridge, the Embankment, St Pauls Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St James' Park, Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, the Serpentine, Hyde Park, Regent Street etc.  Finish at the Ace Cafe for breakfast.

Main Sunday Event at Brooklands from 10am to 5pm - We have been granted entry to the Museum grounds and will be able to park in the paddock and on the historic finishing straight and banking.  There are many attractions at Brooklands, including the Car Museum, the London Bus Museum and the Aeroplane Museums, including a Concorde.
