TOPIC: Forty years ago today

Forty years ago today 1 month 4 weeks ago #41234

On the 27th March 1980 I took delivery of my new Fiat X1/9, I never thought 40 years later I would still own my X1/9.
Here's to the next 40 years, the touble is by then I will be 107, watch this space.

Now that is a beauty.
I think you should pass the ownership onto someone else who ‘might’ still be here in 40 years.
Just let me know your address and I’ll collect it when the World Crisis is over.

Thanks for your comments JB.
I am thinking of some form of cryogenics freezing my body so I can come back in the future and still enjoy my X1/9.
The car will be stored somewhere inside Area 51 until then.

Lovely car Keith, thanks for sharing pictures of it. I guess it's become part of the family now?

Cheers

Ha ha, great reply. I’m busy looking for my 4th X1/9 but not having too much luck at the minute.
I wish I could find an example as good as yours.
