| The X1/9 was available in a wide variety of colours throughout it's 17 year production run. However, not all colours were necessarily available in all countries, so a popular colour in one location could be rare in another. The paint codes have been reproduced here for anyone wishing to restore their X1/9 to an original colour for its year of manufacturer.
An automotive paint factor should be able to mix the correct shade from official FIAT / Bertone data as either 2 pak or cellulose. Touch-up spray aerosols can also be mixed, but remember that an exact match may not be achieved due to fading of the original paintwork and may be further complicated in the case of metallics by the density and lay of the flecks. The normal location of the X1/9 paint code label is inside the rear boot lid. Keep in mind that the one on your car may not be correct for the actual paintwork if the boot lid has been replaced at some point or if the car has had a previous re-spray.
